Quick Update ~ September 5th, 2010.

I will be using this page as an easy way to keep everyone informed on changes to the website since the last update.

I have packs of aida squares available. They are in a pack of 5 x 30cm squares with finished edges (to stop fraying).

At the moment the packs I have are 14 count aida. I am hoping to have some 11 count available soon.

Please contact me if you are interested in the squares and I will get back to you with a price.

I would like to introduce something different for 2010

~ A Year Long Stitch-A-Long ~

I will supply two patterns, a ‘heart outline’ and a ‘circle outline’.

~ The instructions are simple ~ You can stitch anything suitable for a boy or girl ~

• You fit whatever pattern you are stitching inside either the heart or circle outline pattern provided.
• If you have a PC Stitch program, the outline patterns are available for download here. (please stitch on 14 count aida).
• If you don’t have a PC Stitch program or if you have any trouble downloading the patterns, contact me and I’ll email you one. 
• The idea is everyone is stitching with the same pattern outline but the surprise will be what you put inside.

Directions for stitching the Quilt Labels can be found on the ‘Stitching Directions’ page. You must use the sign up form and wait for confirmation before stitching labels.

Those signing up to stitch the ‘quilt labels’ are doing a wonderful job. Thank you so much for doing them.

I would also like to thank the Aussie stitchers who send in a $2 coin with their squares, and the International stitchers who donate through Paypal. These funds are very much appreciated and help out with the assembly and delivery costs involved with the quilts.

Just a couple of quick reminders: 

Please make sure your aida squares are 30cm x 30cm (12 x 12inch). They need to be this size to allow for shrinkage and trimming.

Stitched pattern to be no bigger than 23 x 23cm (9 x 9inch).

When you sign your name, please make sure it is close to the stitched pattern.
