Thank You Message

Dear Linde, thank you so much for waiting for the photos. Since we have received the quiilt it has been washed with love already .

I would love to thank every person who took time out of their lives to make a beautiful quilt for our very special princess. When l get down about where my journey is leading me with Maddie l only have to look at the quilt, made with love that keeps my girl wrapped warmly in that love, to realise that each one of these people are now on this journey in their own speical way with us.

It is wonderful that you can reach out from any where in the world and spread love. Again thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. It was made with love, used with love and will keep our girl warm with all the love each stitcher has stitched into each piece.

Keep up the good work.

               BIOGRAPHY

Maddie was a fail to thrive baby and started fitting at 11 weeks of age. Fitting is a daily occurance up until today. Maddie Has never been able to do anything for herself and if fitting gets bad then the skills she does learn can and often need to be re-taught. Maddie can roll over and sit up on her knees but cannot sit up independantly any more. Maddie often goes to hospital due to fitting and since she cannot talk I stay with her. Basically at ten years old Maddie needs to have all daily living activities done for her. Her food needs to be pureed and she needs to be fed. We have tried all drugs to stop fitting but to no avail. We know each fit takes it’s toll on learning, her spine is now curving and skills are lost but when she smiles and laughs nothing else matters.
