Jayt’s favourite things are: Star Wars, Soccer, Music, Ben10 and the colours blue and green.

BIOGRAPHY

Before Jayt was even born, he had already been diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome. At the age of 10 weeks Jayt had to have open heart surgery.

At the age of one Jayt underwent surgery to remove his right kidney.

Both operations were a success. However, over the past two years his Scoliosis has worsened and he now has to undergo back surgery this year and continued surgeries every 6 months until he is 14 years old.

His back surgery requires inserting metal rods along his spine. This surgery will not ‘cure’ or straighten the Scoliosis but will help slow down the process of further curvature.
