The quilt arrived safe and sound at the end of last week and it really is an amazing piece of work. It was so lovely to hear all the stories of the people that have made the squares and to think of how far they have travelled!

Thanks so much for all your work - it really brings joy to people!

                                 BIOGRAPHY

Finn was a beautiful baby when born but was unable to suck or swallow. After perservering with Cleft Palate
teats and bottles he was able to take formula OK. At 3 months he had laser surgery to correct a problem with his larynx.
His development was very slow e.g sitting up, had lots of sleep problems and eventually was diagnosed with Angelman's
Syndrome. This presents itself as lack of speech, intellectual problems, siezures and eyesight problems. He has had laser
surgery to correct strabismus in both eyes. He has a beautiful nature and like all "ANGELS" loves cuddles.
We have high hopes of him walking unaided some day. He now walks with the aid of a walker and is quite fast now.
He is very placid and only cries if he is unwell or having siezures.
