BIOGRAPHY

Charlie was born in 1999 and spent 12 weeks in the RCH for various issues. He has severe allergies, renal reflux and constant chest infections.

He had gastric problems for years but was well for about 5 years.

We had noticed birthmarks all over him but our local GP found nothing wrong. He then had a small lump causing him pain on his back which the GP said could be removed in his rooms which he did.

The local anesthetic did not work and he screamed for an hour whilst the horrible GP did the removal. We then by chance, saw a gastric specialist who saw the birthmarks on his body and said what he had. We were then referred to the RCH where he now visits at least once a month for check ups and MRI's.

 He has ADD and learning difficulties, a tumour on his neck, and they have discovered that his Audio Nerve Sheaths are not covered correctly and he has constant dizziness.
